Venue

The meeting will be held at CIEMAT (Building 1, 2nd Floor, Room B). The meeting room is equipped with video conference facilities and can accommodate 45 people.

Entrance to CIEMAT is restricted to people carrying appropriate badges that will be handed to registered participants in the main gate on the first day of the meeting. Please, register on time to facilitate this preparation.

There is good connection between Exe Moncloa hotel and Ciemat by bus or subway.

By Bus:

Total estimated time: 25 min

-Walk from Exe hotel across the street and straight ahead until Princesa street is reached (aprox. 50 m), then turn right and walk along Princesa street until the bus stop near the underground exit (aprox. 100 m). “82” and “G” are the preferred buses that can be taken to reach CIEMAT.

  • In case of the “82” bus

You will travel direction “Peñagrande”. Exit at bus stop “Paraninfo-CIEMAT” (11 stops). From “Paraninfo-CIEMAT”, when steping out of the bus, walk right 20 m to reach CIEMAT’s main gate.

  • In case of the “G” bus

You will travel direction “Ciudad Universitaria”. Exit at bus stop “Paraninfo-Informatica” (8 stops). From “Paraninfo-Informatica”, when getting out, walk right until a circus is reached (50 m), get across the street to leave the circus behind, and get across the main street to leave the circus on your right and to reach CIEMAT’s main gates.

-For the return trip, take the “82” bus direction “Moncloa” in the bus stop just opposite CIEMAT, on the other side of the road.

By Subway (Metro):

Total estimated time: 25 min

-Walk from Exe hotel across the street and get into the underground access (aprox. 25 m).
-Take line 6 (“Circular”, grey color).
-Exit at “Ciudad Universitaria” (1 stop, 3 min.).
From there you can:

  • Walk along Avenida Complutense (right from the tube access, in case you get to the surface heading to the street), up to CIEMAT (aprox. 1.3 Km, 17 min.).
  • Take the “82”, “G” or “U” buses (this stop could be crowded with students in the morning). Detailed instructions for these options are the same as before, with instructions for “U” bus being the same as “G” bus.
