Since September 2017, I work as a senior researcher at the Experimental Physics Group of the Laboratorio Nacional de Fusión at CIEMAT. During this time I´ve focused mostly in the experimental study of turbulence and flows in Wendelstein 7-X (W7-X) in IPP Greifswald by means of Doppler reflectometry. My main research interest is the experimental characterization of transport and confinement in stellarators, and the extrapolation of our current knowledge to future reactor devices. Because of this, I combine my experimental work with a particular interest on the validation of theoretical models, for which I have running colaborations with several theory groups. I’m currently Task Force Leader for the “Stellarator Optimization” TF in W7-X  and chair the Permanent Working Group on core transport at the CWGM since February 2023.
